Bible Talk 102

Syllabus

This class, begins where we left off in BIBLETALK 101. It continues discussion around the theological aspects of the Bible. It will help explain the Bible and enhance understanding. Whether you are strong in faith, new to the "language" of Christian theology, or just wanting to learn, the content of this class will speak to you in a way that makes sense and challenge your thinking. Many of the questions most people want to know about the Bible will be answered and you will read some of the works of great theologians and religious thinkers. Though this course addresses theological issues, explanations are given in a plain and easily comprehensible manner. This is one of those home study courses that make learning fun and you will probably thirst for more.

LESSON OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this course, students will better understand the history of the Bible. Many are unaware of just how we came to have the Bible we have today. An understanding of how the Bible came to be can add a new dimension to a believer's perspective of who God is and how He has chosen to work among his creation.

This refresher course has been kept simple and concise. It avoids as much incidental information as possible while being careful to adequately cover the various elements of the subject. It is my hope that ravenous students who complete this refresher course will be inspired to capitalize on what was learned by continuing on with their quest for knowledge. Love and peace, Saundra.
